Urinary tract infection, day wetting and other voiding symptoms in seven‐to eight‐year‐old Danish children

摘要: In this cross-sectional epidemiological questionnaire survey of 7-8-y-old Danish school entrants with focus on voiding habits, 29% were found to have symptoms that could suggest bladder control was not fully developed. The frequency day wetting, urgency, emptying difficulties, nocturnal enuresis, nocturia and encopresis, the median voidings are presented. Furthermore, relationship between urinary tract infections, encopresis habits is investigated. There an association previous infection in girls current symptoms, suggesting dysfunction as a predisposing factor infections. particular, should be placed squatting urge and/or difficulties.
