Sweet's syndrome: A clinicopathologic review of twenty-nine cases

摘要: Twenty-nine patients with Sweet's syndrome were studied. Not all of original criteria necessarily present and diagnosis was dependent on the recognition typical, acute, tender, erythematous plaques characteristic histologic features a neutrophilic infiltrate leukocytoclasis. Women are affected much more frequently than men. The origin is still unclear, but an underlying disease found in 50% our cases. A streptococcal infection evident six cases, inflammatory bowel three malignancy four pregnancy two others. Treatment oral prednisolone for average 6 weeks usual treatment, although cleared spontaneously. Resolution eruption occasionally followed by milia scarring. Recurrences common affect up to one third patients.
