摘要: Effect of light irradiation on evaporated chalcogenide glass films an As–S–Ge system has been studied. In order to make quantitative measurements refractive‐index change resulting from irradiation, diffraction efficiency the phase grating produced in with technique holographic storage measured. The maximum 0.056 obtained As2S3 film. This value is two orders magnitude higher than that Fe‐doped LiNbO3 single crystals. Light onto considered have competing effects, one being thermal and other purely optical.
