Genomic-associated Markers and comparative Genome Maps of Xanthomonas oryzae pv . oryzae and X. oryzae pv. oryzicola

摘要: Xanthomonas oryzae pv. (Xoo) and X. oryzicola (Xoc) cause two major seed quarantine diseases in rice, bacterial blight leaf streak, respectively. Xoo Xoc share high similarity genomic sequence, which results hard differentiation of the pathogens. Genomic-associated Markers comparative Genome Maps database (GMGM) is an integrated providing comprehensive information including compared genome maps full genomic-coverage molecular makers Xoc. This was established based on bioinformatic analysis complete sequenced genomes several pathovars up to 91.39 %. The program designed with a series specific PCR primers, 286 pairs dominant markers, 288 co-dominant were predicted distinguish pathovars. Test total 40 donor pathogen strains using randomly selected 120 primers demonstrated that over 52.5 % efficacious. GMGM web portal (http://biodb.sdau.edu.cn/gmgm/) will be powerful tool can present highly diagnostic it also provides about pathogens for future evolution study.
