摘要: OBJECTIVE There is not enough available data in our country about the prevalence of risk factors for ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), which has highest in-hospital mortality rate within subtypes acute coronary syndromes. Therefore, this study, we aimed to evaluate STEMI Central Anatolia, one regions with high heart disease (CHD). METHODS This cross-sectional observational study included 1210 patients (962 men, 248 women) diagnosis 3 tertiary-medical centers cities Central-Anatolia (Ankara, Konya, and Kayseri). Demographic characteristics (age, gender) known be traditional CHD (history hypertension (HT), diabetes mellitus (DM), smoking, family history) were inquired fasting blood samples 24 hours from onset taken analyze lipid levels. Patients divided into groups based on their ages: Group A--age = or 65 years. Prevalence differences age-groups genders evaluated. RESULTS The mean age was 58+/- 11 years (range 24-96 years). Although percentage female increased relation increasing age, 80% total male. While smoking history observed decrease aging, there a statistically significant increase HT DM (p<0.001). young males DM, other hand, significantly higher women than men number modifiable found smaller male 8 younger females average. CONCLUSIONS results especially have living suggested that most cases at ages might prevented by modification these factors.
