摘要: Current research on angiogenesis and vascular regression is mainly focused pathological conditions such as tumor growth diabetic retinopathy, while a suitable physiological model to study the controlling factors in these processes still lacking. The remodeling pattern of embryonic vasculature into adult configuration, branchial arch arterial system developing aorta or early veins building caudal vena cava can potentially serve model. However, practical applications patterning are impeded by current controversy over exact development mammals. To elucidate ambiguities, specific developmental stages pig embryos were mapped means computer-assisted 3D reconstructions starting from histological serial sections Bouin's fixed embryos.
