摘要: Abstract The overall diagnostic accuracy of digital mammography in the context screening has been shown to be similar or slightly better than screen-film mammography. However, encompasses both Computed Radiography (CR) and integrated Digital (DR) there is increasing evidence suggest that differences detector technology are associated with variations cancer detection rate, dose image quality. These examined detail. Although offers many advantages compared screen-film, still some limitations its use as a tool reduced dense breasts remains an issue. detectors have paved way for emerging technologies which may offer improvements. Taking definition only include X-ray imaging breast, this article focuses on tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography, stereoscopic dedicated breast computed tomography. Advanced software applications such Aided Detection (CAD) quantitative density assessment also presented. benefits each technique discussed.
