摘要: The evolution of minor phases in ASTM A335 P91 steel has been studied on specimens submitted to different thermal treatments including a tempering step. Particular emphasis put the temperature range 573 K 873 K (300 °C 600 °C), which not yet intensively studied. techniques used this investigation were X-ray diffraction with synchrotron light, scanning electron microscopy field emission gun and transmission microscopy. In low [573 K 673 K 400 °C)], retained austenite, Fe3C MX precipitates are observed. high [773 K 1053 K (500 °C 780 °C)], M23C6-type carbides, MX-type carbonitrides M2X effect microstructure hydrogen trapping is analyzed. distorted matrix around particles provides most important trap sites steel.
