摘要: Purpose To determine whole-eye high-order aberrations (HOAs) in pseudophakic eyes after Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK) for Fuchs dystrophy, and to establish relationships between graft thickness, HOAs, visual acuity. Design Cross-sectional study. Methods Whole-eye HOAs were measured at intervals through 24 months DSEK, otherwise healthy control implanted with the same type of spherical intraocular lens. Wavefront errors assessed by a Hartmann-Shack aberrometer over 4-mm-diameter optical zone. In DSEK eyes, central thickness stromal folds using confocal microscopy vivo, best-corrected acuity (BCVA) was determined electronic Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study method. Results Total (0.28 ± 0.11 μm, mean SD, n=17) higher than those controls (0.16 0.07 n=25, P = .02) correlated BCVA total (r 0.39, .01) but not −0.24, .20, n=27). Conclusions are compared untreated corneas. Thicker grafts associated increased more folds, suggesting that donor lenticule contributes, part, wavefront errors. Although is weakly related it thickness.
