摘要: The hyperbenthic fauna of the subtidal channels Eems (N. Netherlands), Westerschelde (S.W. and Gironde France) estuaries was sampled within a 15-day period in summer 1991. In each estuary, quantitative samples were taken at regularly spaced stations covering entire salinity gradient from marine conditions mouth to nearly freshwater upstream. diversity distribution species along main estuarine gradients assessed. Hyperbenthic communities identified using different multivariate statistical techniques. composition density biomass dominant community compared among communities.
