摘要: The embodiments disclosed herein relate to hetero-nanostructures for efficient solar energy conversions, and more particularly the fabrication of titanium dioxide methods using same water splitting. In an embodiment, a hetero-nanostructure includes plurality connected spaced-apart nanobeams linked together at about 90-degree angle, including conductive silicide core having n-type photoactive shell. device splitting generate hydrogen oxygen first compartment two-dimensional nanobeams, each nanobeam substantially perpendicular another nanobeam, shell highly core; second copper-doped nanostructure, wherein are separated by semi-permeable membrane.
