摘要: Purpose: We hypothesized that comprehensive neck dissection could be achieved via a gasless transaxillary approach using robotic system. intended to evaluate the accessibility of level I, IIB and VA nodes with robot-assisted four cadavers. Materials Methods: Transaxillary was performed in cadavers through 7-cm longitudinal incision at anterior axilla 0.8-cm-sized chest wall. Results: successfully from II V all However, levels VA, which lie on cephalic portion spinal accessory nerve, difficult. Vital structures, including internal jugular vein, carotid artery, vagus phrenic superior thyroid artery hypoglossal were identified preserved . Conclusion: Our results demonstrate feasibility approach. suggest gasless, is promising technique for treating nodal metastasis cancers or selected squamous cell carcinomas head neck. some modification might needed when performing dissections
