摘要: An experimental investigation on the vibrational behavior of a rotating disk by means three optical fiber sensors is presented. The disk, which scale model real an aircraft engine, was assembled in wind tunnel order to simulate operation conditions. pressure difference between upstream and downstream sides causes airflow that might force vibrate. To characterize this vibration, set parameters determined measuring tip clearance disk: amplitude, frequency number nodal diameters disk. All information allowed design upgraded prototype whose performance also characterized same method. system employed for measurements, combination with strain gauge mounted surface, served confirm results obtained. data coincided closely those provided sensors, thus demonstrating suitability innovative technique evaluate disks.
