摘要: Abstract Background/aims To assess the sensitivity and specificity of IgA IgG tissue-transglutaminase antibodies assay, pattern antibody decline after gluten withdrawal their modifications with reference to dietary compliance. Subjects We studied sera from 143 untreated coeliac children adolescents (8.8 ± 6.1 years), 212 97 those patients withdrawal, 64 control subjects non-coeliac intestinal disorders (6.8 ± 4.8 years). Methods Samples were tested for class by radiobinding using human-derived tissue-transglutaminase, anti-endomysium indirect immunofluorescence on monkey oesophagus. Results Untreated had significantly higher titres than controls (p  Conclusions The recombinant human assay is a highly sensitive specific test diagnosis disease, it useful in monitoring compliance gluten-free diet.
