摘要: Abstract As a group, the carcinomas represent substantial proportion of all human malignancies, but, with relatively few exceptions, current treatments are ineffective. Modification existing chemotherapeutic agents has not led to significant improvements in survival carcinoma patients, and development new therapeutic strategies is imperative. It now becoming apparent that activation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGF-R) much wider implications than straightforward stimulation cell division. The pleiotropic effects EGF-R signalling may influence tumour behaviour response treatment; these important considerations for therapies aim exploit expression or modulate function tumours.
