摘要: dl-Methionine or its corresponding hydroxy analogue, DL-2-hydroxy-(4-methylthio) butanoic acid (DLHMB), are commonly added to commercial animal diets satisfy the TSAA requirement. The utilization of DLHMB as a supplementary source Met begins with conversion L-Met via 2-step mediated process. L-Methionine can then be transsulfurated L-Cys, which, in turn, catabolized taurine (TAU). In present study, capacity chicken small intestine convert and use this amino for L-Cys TAU production was evaluated. appearance serosal compartment everted sacs incubated is higher presence an H(+) gradient (mucosal pH 5.5 vs. 7.4). Serosal Cys concentration compared at mucosal L-Met, results show significantly values after incubation analogue. Regional comparisons indicate no significant differences Cys, although lower were obtained duodenum than jejunum ileum. profile non-S acids also determined revealed between DLHMB- L-Met-incubated sacs. conclusion, content enterocytes when used source.
