摘要: Provided herein are methods for the preparation of high purity stannous oxide comprising: (a) reacting a Sn salt with C2-12 dicarboxylic acid in aqueous phase to form suspension comprising Sn-dicarboxylate complex; (b) washing complex water obtain wash solution washed essentially free anion salt; and (c) base SnO, wherein SnO has an alpha radiation count less than about 0.002 cph/cm2.
