摘要: Abstract The intrastorm variability of raindrop size distributions as a source uncertainty in single-parameter and dual-parameter radar rainfall estimates is studied using time series analyses disdrometer observations. Two rain-rate (R) estimators are considered: the traditional estimator only reflectivity factor (Z) dual-polarization combination at horizontal polarization (ZH) differential (ZDR). A case study for squall-line system passing over Goodwin Creek experimental watershed northern Mississippi presented.
