摘要: Disdrometer data collected during three spring days, with moderate to heavy rain in the Norman, Oklahoma region are used various polarimetric radar algorithms simulate rates. It is assumed that available measurables 1) reflectivity at horizontal polarization, 4,2) differential reflectivity, ZDR (ratio of vertical factors dB), and 3)differential propagation constant, K D ~ . The accuracies simulated rates from Z,, Z , KDP evaluated compared. A new algorithm utilizes both factor constant also examined. In comparing relative accuracies, disdrometer-derived be "truth" measurements
