摘要: Invasive fungal infections in preterm neonates the neonatal intensive care unit are predominantly caused by Candida spp, and have a high burden of morbidity mortality. Effective prophylactic strategies recently become available, but identification best possible to manage high-risk infants is still priority. Choice use appropriate antifungal drugs needs careful assessment characteristics, epidemiology drug pharmacokinetics. Ideally, for should target bio-films, prevent or effectively treat end-organ localisations, be active against fluconazole-resistant species, reliable safety tolerability profiles. The paper reviews state-of-the-art area infections, addresses some open questions related therapeutic implemented such unique patients.
