摘要: Abstract Didactic presentations on the topic of anatomic pathology in front a live audience have been largely dependent use standard 2 × inch projection slides (Kodachromes) selected still images from at hand. Because highly visual nature specialty pathology, this method has had some serious limitations. With advent digital imaging techniques and availability new electronic software for images, possibilities become available didactic large, audience. We describe whereby large or "virtual slides" were produced digitally scanned whole-mount sections histologic glass projected using combination PowerPoint (Microsoft Corp, Redmond, WA) virtual microscopy To provide seamless transition between two presentation formats, personal computer-based hyperlinked to browser-based microscope viewer.
