摘要: BrainMaps.org is an interactive high-resolution digital brain atlas and virtual microscope that based on over 20 million megapixels of scanned images serial sections both primate non-primate brains integrated with a high-speed database for querying retrieving data about structure function the internet. Complete datasets various species, including Homo sapiens, Macaca mulatta, Chlorocebus aethiops, Felis catus, Mus musculus, Rattus norvegicus, Tyto alba, are accessible online. The methods tools we describe useful research teaching, can be replicated by labs seeking to increase accessibility sharing neuroanatomical data. These offer possibility visualizing exploring completely digitized at sub-neuronal level, facilitate large-scale connectional tracing, histochemical stereological analyses.
