摘要: Furan, a food contaminant formed by heating, is possibly carcinogenic to humans. In this study, we discussed the effect of administration apigenin on furan-induced toxicity determining ROS content, oxidative damage, cytokine levels, DNA and liver kidney damage in mouse model. Our data showed that administered at 5, 10, 20 mg kg(-1) bw per day could decrease induced furan different extents. On one hand, has ability increase indexes glutathione (GSH) glutathione-S-transferase (GST) as well superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities but myeloperoxidase (MPO) maleic dialdehyde (MDA) content mice treated with furan. other it levels tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-1β, (IL)-6 (IL)-10 serum furan-treated mice. At same time, three concentrations elected paper all index 8-hydroxy-desoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine (ALT), lactic dehydrogenase (LDH), blood urea nitrogen (BUN) creatinine The protective effects against were mainly due its excellent scavenge free radicals inhibit lipid oxidation. This important when considering use dietary supplement for beneficial chemoprevention toxicity.
