摘要: The possibility to inhibit tumor growth by interfering with the formation of new vessels, which most neoplasias depend on, has recently raised considerable interest. An angiogenic switch, in proliferating cells acquire ability direct vessel formation, is thought be an early step natural history solid tumors. Using a transgenic model breast cancer, shows many similarities its human counterpart, including metastasize, we targeted angiostatin production stage formation. Liposome-delivered considerably delayed primary and, more importantly, inhibited appearance lung metastases. These findings can relevant design therapeutic intervention humans.
