Prediction of Cutting Forces in Mill-Grinding SiCp/Al Composites

摘要: In this study, an analytical cutting force model has been presented for mill-grinding SiCp/Al composites. model, except the chip formation and frictional components, debonding particle fracture components are considered in modeling total force. The energy theory of Griffith were applied developing during Results verification experiments developed reveal that mean forecast error is less than 8% excluding few experimental values which deviate far from corresponding theoretical values, acceptable agreement with under different machining conditions.
