摘要: Hybrid metal matrix composites (MMCs) find diversified applications in many engineering fields and are very important the recent development of material science. The present article investigates effect thrust force drilling hybrid MMCs using coated carbide drills. Materials used for investigation Al 356-aluminum alloy reinforced with silicon size 25 microns mica an average 45 microns, which produced through stir casting route. Experiments conducted on a vertical machining centre central composite design technique. A model is developed to correlate parameters response surface methodology (RSM). results indicate that suitable prediction forces MMCs.
