摘要: Mucoralean fungi are suitable microorganisms for the sustainable production of food, fodder, and fuels from inexpensive natural resources. Ethanol-producing Mucorales particularly advantageous second-generation ethanol in comparison to conventional ethanolic yeasts bacteria. They able ferment a wide range sugars valuable products, while they typically resistance against inhibitors available different substrates, including untreated lignocellulosic hydrolysates. In addition high yield, produce several commercially by-products, chitosan, microbial oil (mainly polyunsaturated fatty acids), protein. Moreover, fungal extracts can replace expensive nutrients required fermentation. Besides, their morphologies be altered filamentous yeast like adjustable based on process requirement. The focus this review is applying producing biomass by-products thereof.
