摘要: Glucose and fatty acid oxidation has been measured in normal guinea-pig islets of Langerhans, A2-cell rich from streptozotocin-treated guinea-pigs. The rate these compounds A2-cells B-cells estimated. In the B-cells, glucose octanoic responded markedly to changes extracellular levels substrates. Palmitic did not appear be oxidized by B-cells. contrast, palmitic was very sensitive concentration. sensitivity concentration small comparison. high acids supports view that metabolism cells plays an important role regulation glucagon release.
