High‐lysine proteins in Hiproly barley breeding: Identification, nutritional significance and new screening methods

摘要: A 4–7 fold increased content of four major salt-soluble proteins in the barley grain was found to be closely associated with Hiproly high-lysine character. The were identified by crossed Immunoelectrophoresis as: “free” β-amylase, protein Z and two different chymotrypsin inhibitors, lysine 5.0, 7.1, 9.5, 11.5 g per 100 protein, respectively. inhibitors seem detected previous studies Hiproly. Rocket showed that, total, may account for about 7 % normal varieties, 17 lines, more than 50 increase due lys gene. Total total inhibitor contribute equally this increase. Analyses breeding material that screening character can based on simple assays one proteins, not depending determination grain. Especially, activity flour, single-grain or half-grain samples is suggested as a fast reliable test future
