摘要: Streptococcus pneumoniae urinary antigen tests (UATs) may be interpreted using automatic readers to potentially automate sample incubation and provide standardized results reading. Here, we evaluated four UATs the BinaxNOW S. Antigen Card (Abbott, Chicago, IL, USA), ImmuView Legionella (SSI Diagnostica, Hillerod, Denmark), STANDARD F Ag FIA (SD Biosensor, Gyeonggi, South Korea), Sofia (Quidel Corporation, San Diego, CA, USA) with their respective benchtop for ability detect antigen. We found that these assays had a sensitivity of 76.9-86.5%, specificity 84.2-89.7%, no significant difference among UATs. The high level agreement each other, 84.5% samples testing consistently across all assays. automatically visually read test from two immunochromatographic assays, ImmuView, were compared showed excellent between types Immunofluorescent-based F, significantly less time due having assay setup procedures shorter times. In conclusion, performed similarly in detection antigen, can bring increased flexibility running clinical routine.
