摘要: Pleistocene residential sites with multiple contemporaneous human burials are extremely rare in the Americas. We report mitochondrial genomic variation first genomes from a single prehistoric population: two infant (USR1 and USR2) common interment at Upward Sun River Site central Alaska dating to ∼11,500 cal B.P. Using targeted capture method next-generation sequencing, we determined that USR1 possessed variants define lineage C1b, whereas USR2 genome falls root of B2, allowing us refine younger coalescence age estimates for these clades. C1b B2 absent modern populations northern North America. Documentation lineages this location Late provides evidence extent diversity early Beringian populations, which supports expectations Standstill Model.
