摘要: Background: To utilize the power of high-throughput sequencers, target enrichment methods have been developed. The majority these require reagents and equipment that are only available from commercial vendors not suitable for targets a few kilobases in length. Methodology/Principal Findings: We describe novel economical method which custom made long-range PCR products used to capture complete human mitochondrial genomes complex DNA mixtures. use 46 parallel we sequence them on single lane an Illumina GAII instrument. Conclusions/Significance: This is simple particularly can be amplified by do contain highly repetitive sequences such as mtDNA. It has applications population genetics forensics, well studies ancient DNA.
