摘要: Pain coping strategies are important influences on outcomes among people with painful chronic conditions. The pain questionnaire (CSQ) was previously adapted for sickle cell disease and haemophilia, but those versions have 80 items, a briefer version similar psychometric properties would facilitate research coping. full-length haemophilia-adapted CSQ, plus measures of frequency intensity, acceptance, readiness to change, health-related quality life were completed by 190 men haemophilia. Items selected 27-item short form, which 6 months later 129 (68%) participants. Factor structure, reliability concurrent validity the same in long forms. For internal reliabilities three composite scales 0.86 negative thoughts, 0.80 active 0.76 passive adherence. Test-retest 0.73 0.70 0.64 Negative thoughts associated less acceptance more impaired life, whereas greater change pain. form is convenient brief measure good properties, could be used extend
