摘要: A new batch calorimeter was used to study the aerobic growth of Escherichia coli in a minimal containing growth-limiting concentration succinic acid. The shape thermograms obtained simple when energy source only factor and showed stationary phase oxygen transfer limiting. experimentally determined value heat production during found be significantly lower than combustion acid corrected for assimilated-substrate fraction.
