摘要: Breast cancer is a heterogeneous disease, though little known about some of its rarer forms, including certain histologic types. Using Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program data on 135 157 invasive breast cases diagnosed from 1992 to 2001, relationships between nine types various tumour characteristics were assessed. Among women aged 50–89 years at diagnosis, lobular ductal/lobular carcinoma more likely be with stage III/IV, ⩾5.0 cm, node-positive tumours compared ductal cases. Mucinous, comedo, tubular, medullary carcinomas less present an advanced stage. Lobular, ductal/lobular, mucinous, papillary likely, medullary, inflammatory oestrogen receptor (ER) negative/progesterone (PR) negative high grade (notably, 68.2% ER−/PR− vs 19.3% carcinomas). In general, similar differences observed among age 30–49 years. Inflammatory are associated aggressive phenotypes, phenotypes. The studied here differ greatly in their clinical presentations, the hormone profiles grades point different aetiologies.
