摘要: Phospholipid membranes could be considered a prime example of the ability nature to produce complex yet ordered structures, by spontaneous and efficient self-assembly. Inspired unique properties architecture phospholipids, we designed simple amphiphilic decapeptides, intended fold in center peptide sequence, with phosphorylated serine “head” located within central turn segment, two hydrophobic “tails”. The molecular design also included integration diphenylalanine motif, previously shown facilitate self-assembly increase nanostructure stability. Secondary structure analysis peptides indeed indicated presence stabilized conformations solution, connecting “tails”, interactions between strands. mechanisms assembly into supramolecular structures involved structural transitions different morphologies, which occurred over several hours, leading formation dist...
