Arsenic Relative Bioavailability in Contaminated Soils: Comparison of Animal Models, Dosing Schemes, and Biological End Points.

摘要: Different animals and biomarkers have been used to measure the relative bioavailability of arsenic (As-RBA) in contaminated soils. However, there is a lack As-RBA comparison based on different (i.e., swine mouse) [area under blood As concentration curve (AUC) after single gavaged dose vs steady-state urinary excretion (SSUE) accumulation liver or kidney multiple doses via diet]. In this study, 12 As-contaminated soils with known AUC model were measured by mouse AUC, SSUE, analyses. ranges for four assays 2.8–61%, 3.6–64%, 3.9–74%, 3.4–61%.
