摘要: Several retrospective and prospective studies confirmed the beneficial effect of dietary protein restriction (DPR) on downhill course renal function in chronic kidney disease. The long-term results this therapeutic modality may be different than short-term effects. In our nephrology outpatient department, a randomized trial has been progress since April, 1982. 1984, we reported general diet after two years follow-up. Two hundred forty-eight patients with initial creatinine clearances between 10 60 ml/min entered trial. Patients were stratified for sex, age degree insufficiency. One twenty-nine randomly assigned to DPR-group (0.4 0.6 g/kg/day); 118 control group. DPR visited dietitian every three months during first 24 study; thereafter, as controls, visits only specific needs. Urea excretion decreased significantly sign good compliance stayed at that level, even without frequent dietitian. Biochemical parameters showed no signs malnutrition. Amino acid profiles related failure. appeared have selective progression rate failure: primary glomerular disease responded diet. Furthermore, there striking intersex differences. Males more rapid decline towards end-stage failure, but positive way diet, whereas female did not benefit from manipulation all.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
