摘要: Sex hormone effects on hypothalamic neurons have been worked out to a point where receptor mechanisms are relatively well understood, neural circuit for sex steroid-dependent behavior has determined, and several functional genomic regulations discovered conceptualized. With that knowledge in hand, we approach deeper problems of explaining sexual arousal generalized CNS arousal. After brief summary mechanisms, focus three chemical systems which signal impact hormone-dependent behavioral importance: histamine, norepinephrine enkephalin.
