摘要: Compact, wavelength-tunable light sources are desired for the enhancement of information communication technology and bio-imaging applications. We propose a compact, laser diode with wide range around 1230 nm consisting quantum-dot optical amplifier silicon photonic tunable filter. High-quality InAs quantum dots grown sandwiched sub-nano separator technique were used as gain medium. The filter was constructed ring resonators fabricated using photonics. single-mode oscillation demonstrated 28.5-nm range.
