The effects of reserpine and other agents upon leptazol convulsions in mice.

摘要: Reserpine and tetrabenazine reduced the survival time of mice infused with leptazol. This effect was antagonized by pretreatment iproniazid. The iproniazid-treated prolonged 5-hydroxytryptophan but not 3:4-dihydroxyphenylalanine. These findings suggest a relation between leptazol sensitivity brain levels 5-hydroxytryptamine.
