摘要: Diet-derived fatty acids (FAs) are essential sources of energy and fundamental structural components cells. They also play important roles in the modulation immune responses health disease. Saturated unsaturated FAs influence effector regulatory functions innate adaptive cells by changing membrane composition fluidity acting through specific receptors. Impaired balance saturated/unsaturated FAs, as well n-6/n-3 polyunsaturated has significant consequences on system homeostasis, contributing to development many allergic, autoimmune, metabolic diseases.
