摘要: Among forager honey bees, scouts seek new resources and return to the colony, enlisting recruits collect these resources. Differentially expressed genes between behaviors genetic variability in scouting phenotypes have been reported. Whole-genome sequencing of 44 Apis mellifera was undertaken detect variants further understand architecture underlying behavioral differences recruits. The median coverage depth 10.01 10.7 X, respectively. Representation bacterial species among unmapped reads reflected a more diverse microbiome than Overall, 1,412,705 polymorphic positions were analyzed for associations with behavior, 212 significant (p-value 1000 bp apart from each other. A number mapped ncRNA LOC100578102, solute carrier family 12 member 6-like gene, LOC100576965 (meprin TRAF-C homology domain containing gene). Functional categories represented corresponding included: neuronal function, exoskeleton, immune response, salivary gland development, enzymatic food processing. These offer glimpse into molecular support level association genomic behavior observed this study may be linked bee’s plasticity fluidity transition castes.
