Use of Palm Wastes as Alternative Flooring Materials in Broiler Chickens Houses under Prevailing Conditions in New Valley

摘要: A total number of 180 one day old chicks cobb broiler were used to investigate the effects different types floor made from palm wastes on growth performance and carcass traits broiler. The study included six groups treatments; (wheat straw litter, wire net, plastic wooden slats, fiber mate stem slats floors). achieved results showed that had significant (P≤0.05) effect final body weight feed conversion. Wooden floors superiority gain over reared net floors. Also, conversion wheat values Birds significantly higher percentage as compared those . lowest abdominal fat is recorded for broilers raised floor, in comparison with Broilers lower leg problems than birds From economic efficiency, it could be concluded best being managing broilers.
