摘要: This study was conducted with the objective of evaluating use concrete or hard-packed dirt floor in broiler houses. experiment carried out two different phases. The following performance parameters were studied: live weight, feed intake, conversion ratio, and mortality. Litter moisture, pH temperature measured. residual contamination after cleaning disinfection also evaluated. A dry bulb thermometer, a wet black thermometer placed inside each house at bird height outside for data collection. Environmental collected 3h intervals from 00:00 to 24:00 hours during weeks 4, 5, 6 grow-out. Based on data, air relative humidity (RH) determined, which globe (WBGT) Radiant Heat Load (RHL) calculated. There no differences parameters. However, total mortality sudden death higher birds raised floor. On days 0, 14 35, litter as compared floor, but end grow-out, this difference disappeared. cubic effect age increased up day 28, then stabilized decreased. coliform grow-out that found housing, it not influenced by type. general thermal comfort similar broilers
