摘要: The paper discusses progress made in the field of quartz crystal units and controlled oscillators over past few years. is reviewed general, but several accomplishments which are thought to be special importance, discussed detail. These subjects include, among others, vibrator characteristics enclosures, modes motion including "trapped energy" concept long-term drift (aging) units. various types temperature compensated high precision types, problem short-term stability discussed. Precision available today with a daily rate as low parts 1011and short time better than 1010for period one millisecond.
