Do choropleth maps linked with parallel coordinates facilitate an understanding of multivariate spatial characteristics?

摘要: Our study has three objectives. We want to investigate (1) whether choropleth maps linked with parallel coordinates help people understand the locations of vulnerable places and factors making these vulnerable, (2) sparklines that imitate polylines from a coordinate plot support understanding information provided in plot, (3) multiple-view geovisualization approach might be intuitive useful also for nonexperts.
