摘要: Column (CC), thin-layer (TLC), high-performance liquid (HPLC) and ion-exchange chromatography (IEC), were used to investigate corotenoid carotenoprotein complexes in Asellus aquaticus specimens from the Narew river. The following carotenoids found: alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin, diadinoxanthin, mutatoxanthin, crustaxanthin, echinenone, hydroxyechinenone, phoenicoxanthin, canthaxanthin astaxanthin. Astaxanthin (37.5%), (21.4%) phoenicoxanthin (12.3%) found largest amounts. total carotenoid content was 13.824 microg g(-1) of dry mass. Carotenoprotein containing astaxanthin as prosthetic group purified aquaticus. belonged crustacyanins alpha- gamma-crustacyanin. protein forming alpha-crustacyanin contained large amounts such amino-acids asparic acid, glutamic acid leucine, whereas gamma-crustacyanin primarily glycine lysine.
