摘要: Cyclin D1 (CCND1) amplification is found in 10-15 per cent of invasive breast carcinomas, but it not well established whether this gene alteration also occurs the precursor carcinoma, ductal carcinoma situ (DCIS). By Southern blot analysis, cyclin was detected 10 (3/32) DCIS cases. In addition, 15 cases were analysed using bright field hybridization (BRISH), which 11 had already been by blotting. One additional case with BRISH. The use BRISH for detection shown to be a novel and reliable method on paraffin-embedded tissue sections. immunohistochemistry, 147 expression D1. overexpression 9 well-differentiated, 29 intermediately differentiated, 19 poorly differentiated DCIS. No statistically significant association between differentiation grade DCIS, although 90 that show are classified as differentiated. An oestrogen receptor positivity. all four amplification, 30 (8/27) without detectable amplification.
