摘要: Molecular and cytogenetic techniques have been used extensively to study the genetics of renal epithelial neoplasia. Several genes chromosomal aberrations identified that play important roles in development progression kidney tumors. Each histologic type neoplasm is characterized by specific types genetic alterations, a finding can aid making correct diagnoses difficult cases. In addition, molecular research cell tumors continues to: (1) assist our understanding nature causes tumorigenesis tumor progression, (2) further assessment prognosis, (3) facilitate early detection, (4) lead advances therapy, (5) help guide treatment.
